Join us on Monday, May 16th at 6:30 p.m. for a hike at Saul Lake Bog Nature Preserve with?Justin Heslinga, Stewardship Coordinator for the Land Conservancy of West Michigan. This preserve has something for everyone – a prairie restoration project in various stages, border woods, kettle ponds and, of course, the bog itself. Sturdy shoes?and long pants are recommended and sun or rain protection, as needed. There is no running water or restroom facility at the preserve.
Members are encouraged to bring a Michigan native plant to exchange after the hike with other members. See our calendar for more information.
