Notes:  Deciduous low-branched tree or large shrub that blooms in the Spring. Best in part shade, protected from wind. If planted in full Sun, mulch the base to keep the root zone cool and moist. Tolerant of black walnut toxicity. Also called Alternate-leaf dogwood.
