Pussy Toes Antennaria parlinii

Notes:  Tiny fuzzy-looking flowers are called Pussytoes as the female flowers look like cat’s paws.  The female flowers have pink stamens. The shorter Male flowers have yellow stamens and provide the pollen. Male and female flowers appear on separate plants.

Best grown in gritty to rocky, well-drained soils. Good as a ground cover in the appropriate site. Attracts butterflies.
