Carpooling recommended. Meet at the MDOT Park and Ride Lot at 5:15, depart at 5:30 pm on the East Beltline. 3250 Deposit Dr NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 (just north of Gravity Restaurant).

Learn all about the operation of a wildflower seed farm while walking the seed production fields. We’ll frequently stop to discuss farm operations and how our seeds are used in landscapes.
Please bring a folding bag chair to use before the tour starts.
Dress for the weather and for walking. Bring a camera and notepad/pen if desired.
Biography – Esther Durnwald
Esther & Bill Durnwald have owned the Michigan Wildflower Farm since 1996. MWF produces documented native Michigan genotype seed, supplies Great Lakes Region native seed and provides ecological landscaping services including consulting, training, site preparation, installation and management. Esther has her BS Forestry Degree from MTU. She has been past President of the Wildflower Association of Michigan and is current VP of the Native Plant Guild.
