Goodwillie Environmental School
Fifth and sixth grade students at the Goodwillie Environmental School received a $200 grant to plant native flowers and grasses along a power line that runs adjacent to the school property. On October 15th RCWO Volunteers helped students plant seedlings and seeds before winter sets in. ?See pictures of students enjoying the day!
Sand Lake Elementary
Sand Lake Elementary School teacher Polly Bolt?had a vision. She wanted to see native plants at her school. To turn vision into reality she applied for and received a $100 grant from the RCWO to plant natives at their site. This garden will serve as an outdoor classroom in years ahead.
