Notes:
Marginal Wood Fern is a tough, drought tolerant species, often found growing in rock crevices in moist, woody areas. Its thick, leathery leaves are evergreen. This fern spreads slowly, stays on the shorter side (1–2 ft) and takes part shade to full shade. Thrives in neutral to acid soils in some shade.
Other common names are Leatherwood Fern, and Eastern Wood Fern.
