This species palmate leaves are attractive all season long in shaded areas and can over time create a nice ground cover. Though it grows best in part sun and shade, it can tolerate full sun if the soil is consistently damp. It is the larval host to the White-Marked Tussock moth Orgyia leucostigma. Also commonly known as Cranesbill. Deer resistant.
