Chapter Events

Wild Ones River City had a booth with information about native plants and the importance of natives for monarch butterflies.  We had a craft for children making pipe cleaner monarch caterpillars.  It was a very popular booth and we ran out of supplies half way though the event.  Someone made a run to get more supplies.  Because the event was child oriented, more of the effort was spent helping kids with the craft.  Volunteers tried to emphasize the importance of milkweed plants to the survival of monarchs.
