This program will review the design and planning process for Friendship Park, and how the native gardens and landscapes play a central role in the character, impact, and vision of the park.

This event is a field trip held entirely outdoors. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and insect spray.


Biography: Wes Landon is a licensed landscape architect and the leader of the design studio at Native Edge. Specializing in native design and placemaking, his passion is creating resilient, innovative places which inspire, and restore the native environmental fabric of the landscape. Drawing inspiration from Piet Oudolf and Doug Tallamy, Wes strives to create artistic native landscapes and gardens which people and wildlife can enjoy.
